SUNNY OFEHE (MASTER OF CEREMONY)!
As usual, I shared my jokes and most importantly motivate the audience on how to deal with life challenges as Christians. It was the occasion of the Men's Day celebration at my church Covenant Word Ministry in Rotterdam. Enjoy!

Still on Women Emancipation: Her name is Eva Joly born Born in a working-class suburb in Norway, she came to Paris as a young au pair to finance her legal studies and ended up marrying the son of the Bourgeois family she was posted to, despite their disapproval. She now holds joint Norwegian-French nationality and became the first dual national to run for the French Presidency in 2012 under the Green Party. She is a member of the European Parliament since 2009. This fearless anti-corruption crusader and defender of the environment is another example of women breaking barriers. Who said being a woman is a barrier?

NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE!!!
NOTHING IS IMPOSSIBLE FOLKS! In life you are what you think! If you can think it, you can do it! Your life today is what you thought about yourself yesterday and your future will be determined by what you think about yourself today! No wonder Napoleon Hill said "Remember, the thoughts that you think and the statements you make regarding yourself determine your mental attitude. If you have a worthwhile objective, find the one reason why you can achieve it rather than hundreds of reasons why you can't. Think positive about yourself even if it means cutting off negative people around you. God bless you all!

Overcoming FEAR With COURAGE!!!
FEAR is what has made most of us to achieve little or nothing in life. We either develop those fears ourselves or from negative friends around us. We all have FEAR but must lift the COURAGE within us above the FEAR. James Hollingworth once said “Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather the judgment that something else is more important than fear” and Nelson Mandela summed it up when he said “I learnt that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear”. Step into the new week with COURAGE rather than FEAR!

When People Say NO to You!!!
Some of us are either angry or disappointed and hold grudges with relatives, friends, spouses because they refused to help or support us when we needed them! We often tell ourselves that when people need us we are there but when we need them they are not there for us. The question is why? Find the answer in the words of Albert Einstein "I am thankful for all of those who said NO to me. Its because of them I’m doing it myself". You discover your through potential when people say NO to you. In this new month, please forgive!

Overcoming Your Challenges Part 2.
Show Kindness!
Barbara De Angelis once said... "Love and kindness are never wasted. They always make a difference. They bless the one who receives them, and they bless you, the giver".
Dealing With False Friends
Mr. Christian Bovee once said that "False friends are like our shadow, keeping close to us while we walk in the sunshine, but leaving us the instant we cross into the shade."Do not be bothered by false friends for they shall bow out of your life when you get to your resting place. Have a lovely Sunday folks!
Focus On The Future!
Lyndon Johnson once said "Yesterday is not ours to recover, but tomorrow is ours to win or to lose. Apostle Paul said "the past is behind him so he cannot change it but the present (gift), he treasures and the future is a mystery. Do not let your past trouble you but focus on the future that you still have control over. Gregory Quinn said "No matter how small, acknowledge the achievement" Be steadfast!
There Is No Stopping Your Progress!
To all my friends, well wishers and followers, do you know that, no matter the strenght of the wind, tornado or tsunami, it can never make a river flow backward? Nothing can stop your progress and greatness. Every step you take will bring you to a greater heights. Remain dogged and believe in yourself!

What Are Your Thoughts Towards Your Adopted Country?
Many Africans
left the shore of their father land to come to Europe; some to seek better life
and others fled persecution or war. Whatever may have led to our leaving
Africa, may not be what is important to us today. What is now significant is
how we have represented our continent in our various adopted countries in
Europe.
Most of us
came alone or with our families but today we have multiplied by either getting
married and having children and grand children. We have acquired the
Nationalities of our adopted countries and can proudly say we are either Dutch,
Spanish, German, Swede or French.
Today some
of us claim to regret and even harbor grudge for our adopted countries claiming
that they are the cause of our mismanage leadership in Africa that has led to
hunger, starvation and war. The grudge is so much that even when our adopted
countries are involved in international football matches, we wish they will
lose to their opponents. We support anything that stand against this country
that open their doors for us and gave us the opportunity to be better people.
I came into
this country in 1995 after fleeing political persecution. I could only raise
the money to cover the trip after my late mother sold our home. I finally
landed in Schiphol with $5 and sought political asylum at the airport. I was
immediately taken to an asylum camp where I was given clothes, food and basic
weekly financial allowance. This is a service my country Nigeria cannot even
give to their own graduate students let alone Foreigners!
In this
country I met my wife (A Nigerian) and today our marriage is blessed with 4
handsome boys. In this country I took up my activism campaign and floated my
own foundation called Hope for Niger Delta Campaign (HNDC). In this country I
exercised my freedom of Speech and learnt how a country can be governed with
respect to the Rule of Law. In this country I saw how a society can function
with the help of government policy.
Let me not
forget the purpose of this short write up. Some of us have spent many years in
our adopted countries but still believe that we have not arrived at our final
bus stop. Some in Europe still want their sojourn to end in the United State or
Canada whereas they have settled without knowing except if someone will
challenge me that “settle” is still far from spending many years and raising
children in one country.
I realized that
the reason why we Africans have not been able to utilize our full God given
potential or gift is because we find blames in our adopted countries and the
people within it. We have become myopic in thinking thereby bringing
limitations on ourselves. The Bible says “pray for the PEACE and PROSPARITY of
the LAND to wish I have brought you in EXILE, for if it is good in the land, it
shall surely be good for you”.
How do you
enjoy the benefit in a country when you don’t believe in that country? How do
you reap from a country when you refuse to sow into the country? How do you
expect your adopted country to love you when you deliberately find reasons to
hate your adopted country? How can you seek joy in a country you hate?
CONCLUSION:
To my
fellow Africans in Europe of Diaspora, my advice for you is to love your
adopted country and the people no matter how the situation affects you. Whatever
you go through in your adopted country can even be worse in your home country.
Think positive about your adopted country and you shall find your rightful
place and peace. Most of all, let us be good ambassadors of Africa in our adopted
countries and abstain from crimes that can destroy our tomorrow. Thank you
all!!!

Margareth Thatcher's Death...Lesson for Us!
Today we all woke up to the news that British Former Prime Minister and Iron Lady Margareth Thatcher has passed on. It is in death that people remember the life we once lived. Some die and people celebrate while others die we mourn. The death of others should be a wake up call for us all to reflect on our life and ask the question "When we die, how will people remember us?" Watch how you live your life!

The "Devil" Within Us!!!
The doubts and limitations on our ability is the "devil" that inhibit our progress and inability to achieve our life goals. This is why we should ponder on the words of Abraham Lincoln "To believe in the things you can see and touch is no belief at all - but to believe in the unseen is a triumph and a blessing".
